Universal "GW time"
IDEA
In game time that is universal so everyone can be on the same page for guild vs guild or other if someone in europe says 1 o'clock some1 in usa is gana show up early or the other way arond someone in europe is gana show up late

Sounds like a good idea. Currently the timezones are a huge pain in the back to setup events when you're in international guilds or trying to trade with someone. Currently you allways have to calculate back and forth.

I hate dealing with Greenwich Mean Time and all of the other silly timezone conversions.

whether or not you agree with GMT, that's pretty much exactly what this is. As far as converting to/from it, see that clock in the bottom right corner of your screen? Double-click it and goto the timezone tab, there's your GMT to local time conversion. If you can't handle that level of math, I recommend you get out of GW and look into elementary mathematics because everyone above the age of 7 should be able to handle it.

Currently the problem I have with timezones is getting everyone to use the same one. An in-game clock would make that much eaiser.
Whichever timezone ANET choses for this must not use daylight savings, otherwise we will have to keep track of when the clocks change for both our local time and the server time. GMT doesn't have daylight savings so I would suggest ANET use GMT. (and I'm at GMT +12, which makes the conversions very easy)

ANet will probably make it US PST, GMT -8, but just a set time used as a disguise over that would be just fine.

I have thought of this before, and actually: Why not add a little countdown clock: 2 hours untill PvP Weekend etC. That way everyone knows when stuff happens on GW.

Just use UTC/GMT. That's all you're suggesting. You just want it to be your own time so that you don't have to do the conversion. A sum like 8+4 and you want a computer to do it for you.
